Minh Le Hoang ~ Meeting Minh and Timothy Kain following Minh's guitar recital at the ANU ~ June 2004

The first time I heard Minh Le Hoang play was at the McDonald's Performing Arts Challenge in 2003 / Open. Actually he played right after me.
This was my first time to the ANU in Canberra. I spent sometime with my friend classical guitarist Tom Ward and following that I attended Minh's recital. It was great. I really enjoyed the Andante quasi Passacaglia e Toccata by Nikita Koshkin.
Minh Le Hoang is a fantastic guitarist. He is currently a member of Guitar Trek.

I met Timothy Kain and his beautiful wife Chris. Tim was very easy going and always cheerful which made me feel relaxed and I got to know him a little more.
And of course I got to see his Smallman guitar; the case was very heavy and made out of timber.
